CURRENT EVENTS

Requirements for news article:

  1. Article must be at least 20 sentences long. 
  2. No sports or entertainment news. 
  3. Cut and paste article to Google Docs (remove all ads and pictures). 
  4. Print out article (12 point font, Times New Roman)
  5. Read and annotation article. There must be at least  8 annotations per article but the entire article must be annotated
  6. Credit source.

 

Requirements for political cartoon:

  1. Cut and paste cartoon to Google Docs (remove all ads and pictures). 
  2. Print out cartoon. 
  3. List and describe at least characteristics of political cartoons. 
  4. Write paragraph (four to five sentences) that describes the news story depicted in the cartoon. 
  5. Credit source.
